My fitness life has taken some interesting twists, but has landed me in the great world of CrossFit and I won’t have it any other way!  Throughout high school I trained to be a NCAA Division 1 softball player.  After getting my scholarship to Georgia Tech to play softball I managed to injure my knee.  After a year of physical therapy and losing the scholarship, I was introduced to rugby.  At that moment I found my passion in life; I founded the Georgia Tech Women’s Rugby Team.  I kept up with the sport after graduation and  currently split my time playing for the Atlanta Harlequins Women’s Rugby Team and coaching the Emory Women’s Rugby Team.  Throughout my rugby career I have been selected to play for the South All Star Women (Under 19, Under 23, and Senior)--I was selected captain for the Under 23 South and the Georgia Rugby Union All Stars.  Rugby led me to CrossFit allowing me to excel further and become one of the best players in the Southern United States.

I have always been really active and enjoyed workouts that weren’t “normal” (e.g. softball drills, things that always changed).  Not only did the CrossFit workouts help improve my rugby game, but it made sense.  Everything that I did in a workout helped me in everyday life, and I was immediately hooked.  I enjoy introducing people to the “CrossFit mentality,” and the results that CrossFit can bring.  In my opinion, CrossFit is a necessary part of a fit and healthy life.  I want to share my knowledge and passion with everyone, for a better and sensible lifestyle.  I hope to see you soon!
